Tanu weds Manu

Light hearted flick. Anyway, there are v few bollywood releases. Amidst all the hollywood  flicks, for once this comes out to be a breather :)

Pluses:

• Simple script. Not much drama.
• Kangna, she is improving on her dialogue deliveries. :) And for once she didnt cry in the entire flick :D
• Characters sketches of Kangna and Madhavan. Kangna like never before...v jolly, and on the other hand Madhavan a romantic but silent lover.
• Jimmy Shergil's presentation was handsome and commendable :)
• Music did sound good in the context of the movie. :)

Minuses:

It had lots of potential to be a big hit especially lookin at minimal no. of releases from bollywood. Had it been a little better script and better dialogues, it could be another 'Jab we met' :)

Black Swan

Pyschic stuff. You may or may not like it. I at least dont like movies which puts me into depression, and this is one of them.

Pluses:

• Natalie Portman, a huge applause for her. :)
• And you really get to see some amazing Ballet. Hats off to Natalie again. :)
• Editing of the movie is good.
• In spite of being a slow flick, the script has the grip, you dont get bored.
• There is good amount of adult content as well. ;)

Minuses:

Too perfect a script can be at times depressing.

The King's Speech

As u would expect an Oscar winner movie wud be. Slow but nicely presented.

Pluses:

• The plot and the focus in the content.
• Collin Firth is an amazing actor as so was Geoffrey Rush. :)
• I personally liked the role of Helena Bonham Carter as well :)
• The end really is "saving grace" :)

Minuses:

That it is very slow. I dont prefer slow movies. Thank god in India at least they have a forced interval,else i wud have fallen :)

How do you know

Another time pass drama.Not a bad watch. At least you wont come out of the theatre cursing yourself for booking the tickets as would have happened for '7 Khoon Maaf' :)

Pluses:

• I love it when gals have multiple options of guys to choose from :D Alas!! apart from this there is nothing notably positive about this movie :)
• Personally liked Paul Rudd.
• Have no stress, just come, watch a light hearted show and return back smiling. I guess thats all you expect from a weekend show. :)

Minuses:

• Script. Cliche stuff!! :(
• Reese Witherspoon. Any fans in here???

7 Khoon Maaf

Nice experiment. But not of my taste.

Pluses:

• Indian movies are growing in terms of quality. 
• Direction was different, pleasant at times, while at times irritating.
• Priyanka Chopra can act :)
• Neil Nitin Mukesh was unexpectedly handsome, dashing and good actor. :D
• Irfan Khan was good too.

Minuses:

• But not a v practical script. 
• Priyanka looked at her worst.
• Hated John somehow :(
• V V slow movie.
• It could have been a better movie, if they reduced the murders to just 3 husbands and reduced the length to 2 hours.
• Dragged a lot.

The mechanic

Not a bad watch. Nothin spectacular either.

Pluses:

Jason Statham in the last 20 mins of the movie.Rest of the movie wasnt a Jason flick at all.

Minuses:

• Ben Foster steals the limelight. Not that i mind, but mind u, audience have come for Jason, not him.
• Dont expect too much of action. In fact there is hardly any action n the flick. :(

No Strings attached

Romantic flick. I know i know, not really my type of movie. Just for a change :)

Absolute time pass.Nothin great, nothing too bad either. :)

Pluses:

• Adult content :D :D :D I bet you gals will love Ashton Kutcher even more :D
• In fact, the only good part of the movie was Ashton Kutcher :)
• Woman empowerment in relations depicted very well, i love it :D

Minuses:

• Natalie Portman. Guys will be disappointed, no clothe sheddin, and most importantly no flesh to expose :P
• Very very cliche script :(
