Wrath of the Titans(3D)

You know what to expect out of the flick. :) It delivers you the same. Wont disappoint you at that :)


Pluses:

• Sam Worthington as 'Perseus', Liam Neeson as 'Zeus', Ralph Fiennes as 'Hades', Édgar Ramírez as 'Ares', Toby Kebbell as 'Agenor' and Rosamund Pike as 'Andromeda', all did a fair job.
• I personally like the character of 'Agenor' played by Toby Kebbel. He was funny :)
• 3D was no exceptionally good,but better than most other 3D stuffs.
• The story line is quite obvious as you see the characters playing as Gods against evils, and demi gods playing heroic to save mankind :)Nothing notably bad at it :)

Minuses:

Nothing particularly wrong, just another average flick. :)

The Hunger Games

A good watch. Nothing extraordinary. However a gripping watch :)

Pluses:

• Jennifer Lawrence as "Katniss Everdeen" , she was the soul of the movie from the first scene till the last.
• Josh Hutcherson as " Peeta Mellark" , did a good job. However, he felt a little secondary as the female lead dominated.
• I personally liked the charcter of the mentor "Haymitch" played by Woody Harrelson and his attitude in the movie was just perfectly carried out. :)
• The story line was gripping, so you really dont get bored.
• Thankully, this flick was not attempted in 3D, spared. :)

Minuses:

• Rest of all the actors were kind of wasted, none had much to perform.
• Script was pretty much predictable right from the beginning. It couldnt create a good hold discovering whats next to come.
• Romantic angle was so forced, it almost felt so Bollywood.
• A reality show in true sense, so much drama and so much of entertaintment. I meant it all sarcastically :)

Kahaani

A very good subject. A nice make. A must watch :)

Pluses:

• Vidya Balan, goes without saying. She is selecting work very cleverly. Outstanding performance :)
• Supporting actors viz. Parambrata Chatterjee as "Inspector Satyoki Rana" and "Nawazuddin Siddiqui" as Khan were at their best in their respective roles.
• The script was very well woven, the mystery well kept secret. You will be at your edge during the interval also and till the end. :)
• A very low budget movie, but creates a lot of tension to your mind.

Minuses:

• There were as such no songs, but a few background scores were irritating and biased towards Bengalis. Not many would appreciate.
• From a spy point of view, quite a few technical glitches as well, but i guess the startling end, makes you ignore all :)

Jodi Breakers

Not all that bad a movie as one would expect. :) Good time pass flick. Entertaining.

Pluses:

• Bipasha Basu undoubtedly. She is worth every penny in the flick ;) Smoking hot in every scene.
• Milind Soman, another hottie ;) This movie has something for every sex :P
• Deepa Neeta did a decent job, she looked prettier than other flicks.
• Madhavan did a good job as far as acting is concerned.
• Good jobs by all the other actors who were friends of Madhavan in the flick including Omi Vaidya.
• I personally would like to appreciate the make up artist and the hair dresser in the movie. Brilliant job. The ladies had beautiful make up done with beautiful braids on hair.
• The story had good sense of humour through out, wasnt boring.
• The script wasnot bad, nothing new...but direction pulled it off.
• The songs worth mentioning, bollywood music these days sucks otherwise.

Minuses:

• Madhavan wasnt a right choice for the flick. He looked grumpy and old and fattie.
• Bipasha-Madhavan, horrible jodi. Hated there onscreen kiss and chemistry on a whole.

Ghost Rider- Spirit of Vengeance

Time pass action flick, exactly as you would have expected. :)

Pluses:

• Nicolas Cage. He was good as much as you can expect as the character 'Ghost rider'
• Some beautiful locations to cherish on bigger screen :)

Minuses: 

• Poor cliche script.
• Supporting character, none were up to the mark.
• 3D, a complete waste. I dont understand why are such movies even attempted to be built as 3D.

Ek main aur ekk tu

Very average. Nothing to boast about. And not exactly a one time watch either.

Pluses:

• The fresh feel that the presentation has, however they cudnt pull it through.
• Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan looked very fresh, i liked there fashion designer :) But thats about it. :)
• The end is worth watching after the entire stretch of the flick.

Minuses:

• Sad script. Hell lot of drama.
• Non impressive music.
• Dumb acting from both the actors.
• Intolerable first half.

The Descendants

Depicts the state of families and relations of westerners.But for Indian standards, way too slow to sit through it.

Pluses:

• George Clooney. I love this man. This time aint a dapper otherwise tat he is. But he can churn out the feelings and take you through the journey of a normal white guy's household with ease.
• The supporting roles played by the daughters viz. Shailene Woodley and Amara Miller were good.
• I especially liked the character of Nick Krause, he was unwanted, irritating yet a moving character. Quite funny yeah! :)

Minuses:

• Way too slow.
• Doesnt have much to offer in the script.
