Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows

Either this series is better than others or may be gradually i have started personalising it :) Part-II holds a lots of promise. You can enjoy part-I, but will definately wait for part -II as well.

Pluses:

• Daniel Redcliffe undoubtedly.
• His gang Emma Watson and Rupert Grit were great too.
• The movie had a sense of seriourness from the beginning itself, hence less time wasted in building the same. :)
• You wont feel bored, there is constantly something or the other happening around.

Minuses:

• Of course they were passing time taking merry go rounds around other accessories, instead of concentrating bout Deathly Hallows.
• All it did was just a premise creation for part-II

Guzarish

Very easily a critic endeared movie. Dont watch it for entertaintment. Its a piece of art :D

Pluses:

• Need not mention...Hrithik Roshan :)
• Aishwarya was good too.
• Its a watch only for the power packed performances.

Minuses:

• Way too slow.
• Pretty depressing show. You definately wont come out smiling(as was promoted).
• The story lacked content.
• The central content was dragged a bit too far.

Due Date

Nice watch. Totally entertaning. What a relief after Golmaal 3 and Action Replayy.

Pluses:

• Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. absolutely rocks.
• Good sense of humour.
• Good direction. The story never feels been dragged.
• I wudnt really want to compare it with Hangover somehow. Its not the same star cast, neither similar line of story.

Minuses:

• I just enjoyed, didnt notice flaws even if there are any.

The Social Network

Need to have right expectations to watch it. Its not about Facebook on the front. Its about the story behind it.Good

watch, nothing brilliant though from the movie perspective.

Pluses:

• Need not decipher characters, the main character itself is by the real name and hence the story is straight forward.
• Presentation is good.
• First half keeps you going...lots of stuffs happening on all fronts.
• The grey shade in the character of Mark Zuckerberg leaves a lasting impact.

Minuses:

• Too much of legal content and politics in the second half.
• The pace doesnt change at all in the second half, post interval u expect to see something more..given the constraint of the real story which is not always entertaining, the presentation could have been improved. As a result, u tend to loose interest in the second half

Skyline

He he he...Good Joke :) Wanna have a frustrated laugh?? Go for it :)

Pluses:

• Finally, some international stuffs getting worldwide releases on the same day,like this one.
• Alien compostition wasnt bad, creativity was as per the standards.

Minuses:

• Script screwed it up....totally!!
• You can see a lot of bollywood make up :D Lots of "Kaho na Pyaar hai" and u are sure to be reminded of blue eyed Sunny Deol punching the alien with all his might :D
• I hope the director isnt even dreaming of a sequel to it, the way they ended the flick unexplained, leaves u with a feeling of pulling you hairs out. :D

Devil

An average movie. Hardly has any horror element. Based more on the mythological beliefs. Not bad,nothing great either.

  

Pluses:

• You can watch this flick sitting alone in a theatre mid night and come back peacefully without loosing your sleep in the night :D
• The story manages to originate some belief in "Devil" without sounding absurd or creating any spooky imaginations on your mind. :)

Minuses:

• The excitement factor is nil, since most of the happenings are predictable.
• The story lacks a grip, 1.5 hrs also seems long for the show.

Golmaal 3

Totally time pass. Golmaal- the original was far far better than any of its sequels.

Pluses:

• Ajay Devgan. He is the only plus point.
• Mithoon wasnt bad for a change :)
• Kareena as such was good, but the tom boyish image wasnt expressed enough. 

Minuses:

• I wonder what prompted Rohit Shetty to make Golmaal 3 after the not so success of Golmaal 2.
• All the other actors including Arshad Warsi and most importantly Tushaar Kapoor were absolutely wasted. Tushar was quite irritating in this since his dialogues in most of the parts were not deciphered :D
• Sick and tired of mindless action and mindless humour.
• Jhony Lever is irritating.

Action Replay

Do not even dare considering it for a watch. Absolute waste of money. Worst of all the typical Akshay Kumar comedy attempts.

Pluses:

• Aishwarya looked pretty good throughout.
• Aditya Roy Kapoor(Bunty) was cute and did well.
• Ranvijay was the coolest looking character in the entire stretch. Loved him first time on a big screen. :)

Minuses:

• Akshay Kumar. He should now immediately take action in banning any other such flick even in its post production stage else one more release of its kinds, and he is finished.
• Aishwarya's usual attitude and body language, pretty irritating.
• Story, as good as no story. Even the kids of this generation cannot digest it.
• Pathetic sense of humour.
• You are bound to be reminded of 'Love Story 2050' lookin at Randhir Kapoor and the gadget...the rest you can imagine :D

Jhootha hi sahi

  

A forefront copy of "FRIENDS". They tried to rebuild the charm for hindi audience. Quite a success i must say. :) If u r not a die hard fan of FRIENDS and have an accepting attitude, u will surely like it.

Pluses:

• Fun filled light hearted flick, very fresh :)
• John Abraham...cant believe him in such a get up. Amazing :)
• A new avatar of Raghu, he was simple awesome, loved every bit of him.
• It’s a well attempted pick from the famous Soap Opera ‘FRIENDS’.
• A few songs were good, very soothing. Especially the background song(English song) in the very beginning of the movie.
• It’s a fresh take for the Indian film industry, the accepted standard of humor is re-evaluated.

Minuses:

• Pakhi looked a tad older when paired with John. She even looked pretty bad in one or two song sequences.
• The movie could have been tailored a bit shorter. The plot drags at a few parts.
• I particularly found the character Raghu’s Sister and her boy friend’s story a bit annoying. Almost forced into.
