F.A.L.T.U

Very faltoo movie indeed :) perhaps the only factor which made it work is the timing of release. Something fresh and time pass.

Pluses:

• The timing of release.
• Fresh faces, though none to drool over.
• If u can digest the first half and prepare yourself for 2nd half, you will then enjoy the rest of the movie.
• My personal fav was a performance in the end of the movie, u mostly watch such stuffs on small screen, its a fab watch on a big screen.
• A round of applause to Remo for his debutant direction and of course dance/performances which he Is best at :) 
• Songs are already doing a round, so that saves a lot from dampners :)

Minuses:

• Script, a little difficult to digest.
• You can easily catch issues with direction here and there, though a first attempt..u could ignore
• Female lead was wasted, nothing much for her to do, if not highlighted, she almost looks one amongst the crowd.
• Nothing much to dig, just shut your I.Q and enjoy :)

My rating: 2.5/5 (half a rating more only for the timing of its release, though post Dum maaro dum, it may not work for u)

Dum maaro dum

What a sigh of relief. Finally a breakthrough in hindi cinema after a spate of B grade stuffs. A must watch for all :)

Pluses:

• Abhishekh Bachchan, he really deserves appreciation for this one. 
• Rana Daggubati, he is the show stealer.
• Very well knitted script, keeps u glued to the seat
• Rocking dialogues, never fails to entertain even when the plot is so serious. 
• A huge applause for the director.
• Guys hold your breathe for Deepika...she drugs you, v v sexy :) and what a brilliant use of her oversized torso :P

Minuses:

• Bipasha Basu, I have no idea why she always is portrayed as a glam doll and a sex toy, she hardly has any role to play..absolute waste.
• Prateik Babbar..we really want to see a cool dude in him, dont want to see scared mouse..please someone realise his talent and offer him appropriate roles.
• I didnt like the streaming of deepika padukone item song, they weaved scenes in between. When u just dont wish to take off your eyes from her and crave for more, there appears AB Junior. :-[

Just go with it

Replica of the hindi flick 'Maine pyaar kyun kiya'. Need I say anything more.

Pluses:

• Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
• All the child artists were a charm, u get to see a huge difference from bollywood starrers of the duplicate.
• Fun movie for the entire family.

Minuses:

Not much of any expectations I believe from the flick, so nothin disappoints you.

The Eagle

Legendary story of ancient Rome. Loved it after a spate of monotonous movies :) It takes you to a different world.

Pluses:

• Though nothing markably new in the script, but it feels good considering the current set of releases of late.
• Absolutely adored Channing Tatum as 'Marcus Aquila'. After a long time some fresh and young face. Ladies, he is handsome ;) 
• The character of Cohort Centurion as 'Istvan Goz' was admirable too. He reminds you of 'Frodo's' fren,  'Sam' from 'LOTR' fame.
• And most importantly you feel joy at the victory of Rome by the end of the movie.

Minuses:

I will have to literally dig out anything annoying bout it. Nothing notably wrong with the flick.

Sucker punch

Waste of time if u are at all lookin for a story. Or otherwise a visual treat for men especially :)

Pluses:

Dramatic graphics and visualisation. It gives u a gaming platform :D
Nevertheless, all the ladies...smokin hot in smokin constumes :)

Minuses:

Absolutely bull shit script, or probably I just didnt understand the illusion behind. :)

The fighter

Overall not a bad watch, provided u survive the first half :)


Pluses:

• Second half. The movie is pulled through in the next half.
• Melissa Leo as the shrewed business woman-mother rocks and so does the bunch of sisters, u will love to hate them. Oscar justified :)
• Amy Adams as Mark Wahlberg's gal fren was awesome, the role n the stand she had was commemdable. Bollywood should learn how to place a woman in a male oriented movie. They seriously lack that art.
• Mark Wahlberg was pretty good on his part.
• Chemistry between two brothers was depicted aptly.

Minuses:

• First half. Pretty boring, u start loosin patience.
• Cant help with real stories, they are unfortunately not so 'masaaledaar'
• Christian Bale sucks in the first half, probably my Indian bringing up, just cant digest tat attitude.
