Could be the most difficult review to write without faith!
As for movie, its a slow paced biblical drama, if you have got faith, its watchable
You may look forward to:
- Diogo Morgado was at his best in the scenes from the crucifixion process. Everywhere else it doesn't take much to enact as someone who can do miracles after miracles without any need for stunts :P I will simply say, that his role wasn't as moving as it should have been
- All the followers of Christ, as depicted played their role as written for them, that including the rest of the supporting star cast
What you can sleep over:
The slow pace of the movie. Ensure you are not already tired while watching this, or you may end up embarrassing yourself with the snores :P
The dampeners you should be aware of:
- I don't understand a few dialogues which more or less looked like a joke, like the one of few dialogues while hanging on the cross and more
- I guess, its down turn from the director, as the script cannot be fiddled with to a larger extent, such movies are completely in the hands of the director. This one fails to leave any significant impact on you
