Takes off pretty well, to end up in a cliche. Yet not a bad watch!
You may look forward to:
- The first half, where in you see fear coming from wild animals to that of apparent psycopaths to devilish prescence, to team up with thrilling aspect of cops investigating various aspects!
- Eric Bana plays the lead pretty well suiting the needs
- Sean Harris keeps up your curiosity for long enough
- Olivia Munn and Joel McHale, were good supports
- Olivia Horton is more spooky than the devil himself :)
What you can sleep over:
- The second half turns out to be like any other horror flick which ends with exorcism of a possessed somebody. There you dont get to see anything captivating enough
- Édgar Ramírez's role was questionable for a priest, hoping it actually were close to any real character :) The funny part was when he himself was carried away during exorcism :)
The dampeners you should be aware of:
Somehow the entire act of exorcism, however detailed, looked slightly on the funny side than horrifying :D
