Hasee toh phasee

Cast: Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra,Adah Sharma,Manoj Joshi,Sharat Saxena,Sameer Khakhar
Director:Vinil Matthew
Genre: Romance, Comedy

If only you are not dying to check out the chemistry between the lead duo or do not have a personal favorite amongst either of them, you can safely ignore the flick

The dampeners you should be aware of:
  • Nonsense script. Absolute no brainer. Half the time you will keep wondering "ye kya ho raha hai#$SF#%$??!!!". There is no romance felt, there is no musical joy, there are no great dialogues, there are no morals. I wonder what should the audience stick to for the entire length of the movie!!
  • If this movie can be liked by audience, i will question those who rejected 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. I believe that was a much more sensible flick than this, however low on moral. Karan Johar, proves it time and again, that he is throwing hints of his departure from Bollywood very soon. Disappointing that Anurag Kahsyap is joining this bandwagon :(
  • This movie is  very very low on morals. The story raises no alarms about 'chori karna buri baat hai'. She is happily making plans of duping her own family, not once but for the second time, further more abated by our man :) Not to talk about romance :P On the similar lines of 'Shuddh Desi Romance',breaking someones wedding for a new abrupt story :P
  • Parineeti Chopra disaster. I personally find this particular movie her worst ever. With this i typecast her meant to be someone who arrives and breaks someone's wedding, in every movie of hers. Can she do any better than this? All and everything that was related to science and her, in the movie...was so random,so unclear..no one can hardly gain any benefit of by the way knowledge either, out of all that was supposed to make her a character who is intelligent. And someone please clarify me on the various eccentricities she showed as a supplement of side effect of the pills she was having in the movie!!! Plain dumb and irritating!
  • Music, well!! 'Zehnaseeb' is the only good no. and thanks to the making of the song in the movie, you dont enjoy that either. Rest of the songs were ear sores, unbearable, specially "Punjabi wedding song", what a trauma, horrible lyrics
  • Very bad editing. Songs like "shake it like Shammi" happens out of nowhere. Many such scenes are very random as well, having no head or tail and no relation to anything
  • I literally sat back and waited for the movie to end, absolutely low on quality in every respect
  • And finally the movie has no relevance to the title howsoever

What you can sleep over:

There is nothing in the movie that you can simply digest with a pill. No i cannot sleep over this movie, it was a pain watching it

You may look forward to:

  • Look out for the scenes from the trailers. Those of you who have not seen the theatrical trailers, will have some bits to enjoy. But those who have seen it already, will know there is nothing more to the movie beyond those particular lines or scenes
  • However, stupid is the character of Sidharth Malhotra, he still did a good job. I didnt mind watching him. Somewhere or the other, he still made sense out of all the eccentricity and his inability to dance :). But i would still like to know what can drive a sane man fall madly in love with a lady who is not mentally stable. Please explain!
  • Adah Sharma made it as a second fiddle to Parineeti, substantial role and she undoubtedly looked good throughout. This movie helps removing the memories of her in the evil form from '1920' :) In case you are lost where did you see her last :)
  • All the other supporting star cast did a good job, werent any spoilers at the least :)
